Captain and Vice-Captain Roles Explained

Clear roles keep teams and competitions organized. ScoreBouncer distinguishes normal team leadership from league ownership, league organizers and season Team Organizers.

Normal team leadership

  • Captain: the designated team leader, shown with a C badge.
  • Vice-Captain: the deputy leader, shown with a VC badge.
  • Authorized leaders manage the normal squad and supported match actions.

League roles

  • League Owner: creator and primary administrator.
  • League Organizer: manages seasons, teams, fixtures and league setup.
  • Team Organizer: manages only the assigned season team and its registered roster.

Why the distinction matters

A normal team captain does not automatically control an entire league, while a season Team Organizer does not automatically change the normal team squad. Separate roles keep permissions predictable.
