A club may have a large normal squad, but a competition often requires a fixed registered roster. ScoreBouncer keeps these concepts separate so league eligibility remains clear and enforceable.
The normal team stays canonical
The normal team keeps its name, logo, history, squad and general match record. Adding the team to a league does not duplicate the team or replace its profile.
The season roster controls eligibility
- Maximum 25 registered players per season team.
- No guest players in league competition.
- One player cannot represent two teams in the same season.
- Players added only to the season roster do not automatically appear in the normal team squad.
Playing XI and scoring remain protected
For a league match, the Playing XI is loaded only from the exact season roster. The main team squad is never merged or used as a fallback. Striker, non-striker, bowler, fielder and replacement selections then come from the validated Playing XI.
